To provide a coating which both met with the customer’s expectations in terms of colour and finish, and delivered on performance against frequented handling. In particular, where the portable handset fit into the cradle, this area would be exposed to a fair amount of abrasion. Regular “lifts” as the handset was used and replaced, was a functionality of the module, and something we had to offer a solution for. Likewise, an android tablet formed part of the unit. This too would be removed and relocated periodically.

Our 35 years’ experience of developing coating solutions, and our comprehensive collection of trusted paint suppliers, was key in identifying a choice of paint system which met all of the criteria. By furnishing our customer with samples for them to select from and test, we were able to offer them a product that looks great and meets with their exacting standard.

Our clients output this model has doubled within a few months of this product going to market. Demonstrating that by applying a surface coating, the colour, wear resistance and perceived value of a product can be enhanced. We have since partnered with a plastic injection moulder local to us, so that we can now offer a fully managed solution. Now our customer simply needs to tell us what their forecasted volumes are, and we handle the rest.
